Preparing and slow stitching two

I don't know why I put this off.  I actually enjoy all the parts - tracing the pieces, cutting the freezer paper, pressing the paper on the fabric, cutting the pieces out of fabric, basting, stitching.  I do love hand work.  And when I let myself enjoy the process, the slowing down and savoring each step, I find joy in the making.
Just a bit of slow stitching on a Sunday morning.

It is about enjoying and savoring each step, isn't it?
I lack handicraft gene, but I so admire people who have and eye, skills and patience for it. Enjoy and have fun!

I feel the same way. So much fun when we have some time to just sit and create. Time seems to fly away!

Yes, I like all the prep work too. We're still playing with fabric, after all!

I took it slow this morning too. I really just needed to sit and finished a few Xmas gifts. Its been a week since I took the time to just sit and get lost in yarn.
