On the topic of unfinished knitting

I am not a monogamous crafter.  Quilting has been my primary craft for many years but knitting has crept in and threatens to claim a great quantity of time these days.  I spend an embarrassing amount of time on the Ravelry boards, looking at projects, reading groups boards, and dreaming of lovely knitted items.  One group I frequent (My Sister's Knitter) is beginning a knit along to finish your works in progress.  I didn't have to look far to find five lovely projects that qualify.  There seems to be a bit of a color theme going on too.
The largest item is my Caora sweater, a mere 4 inches from being complete.  Then I have a wee brown hat for our donation project at church.  The top three blues are all shawls.  One is for me, one for the prayer shawl group at church and the third is a pattern I have long wanted to knit called Piper's Journey.
Another group (Playful Day) is starting a one month craft along.  I am planning to cast on my orange sweater for this group but there are also categories for finishing something (any craft so my quilt binding works here) and trying something new (I have five new dinner recipes to try).
I sometimes wish there was a similar place where quilters would gather but then I would probably just fritter away even more time reading instead of stitching so I will stick with my blog cruising.
