a summertime Monday

During the school year, Mondays can be frantic.  All the things that got left on the desk Friday afternoon are just waiting and often demanding attention.
But a summer Monday can be lovely.  No rush to get anywhere.  Time to pick a few items from the list to get checked off.  Today I did a bit of cleaning, put a few things in the mail, stopped at the bank, took a slow bike ride, read a bit, did a bit of knitting, and ran a few errands.  One of those errands was to pick up some push pins.  And they were put to work quickly, getting my wall of quilts off the carpet and up on the actual wall!  There is still room to the left for another row and at least one more can go on the lower right.  I have a few more small quilts that need to be quilted so hopefully those empty spaces won't be lonely for too long.

Your wall of quilts is gorgeous! The individual quilts are lovely, some really interesting ones too. I am now going to explore the rest of your blog!

Nice! What a great idea to display them in a collage.

Love your collection of little quilts. I wish I had wall space to do that.
