It is very telling that I let a whole month go by without a single blog post. The best word to describe how I have been feeling for the last 30-some days is weary. But, the air is crisp and clear today and I am drawing up a new attitude.
I finished my second half-marathon but ended up with some serious heel pain that kept me off the running trail for most of September. I have been going to a lot of yoga classes and will continue that as I begin to reboot my running.
I signed up for two year long classes at Big Picture Scrapbooking and have not kept up with the monthly work but I am joining a classmate to finish strong. That means I will be pulling out my scissors and glue stick and getting some pages finished.
I stalled out on my Birdsong panels. I am at the point of joining the panels and that is upstairs work which will be easier now that the weather has cooled.
I have been knitting hats. A young girl at church is collecting hats for a local Homeless Advocate group. So far I have knit three hats and the fourth should be done by the weekend.
I did make my center block for Lori's most recent quilt along. Love those small, do-able projects (and I love Lori too!),
Okay, let's get this month started.
